MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN!: House passes bill stripping funds from 'sanctuary cities'

On June 29 — two days before California’s “high capacity” magazine ban was set to take effect — U.S. District Judge Roger Benitez blocked the ban to prevent “otherwise law-abiding” citizens from being criminalized.

...Benitez ruled that the ban takes away Second Amendment rights “and amounts to the government taking people’s private property without compensation.”

According to ABC News, Benitez ruled, “If this injunction does not issue, hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of otherwise law-abiding citizens will have an untenable choice: become an outlaw or dispossess one’s self of lawfully acquired property.”

And while the ban was approved by a majority of California voters, Benitez noted, “[The] constitution is a shield from the tyranny of the majority.”...

Political Retribution- Bombshell report exposes FBI motives for spying on Flynn

‘So much for diversity’! Notice anyone missing from Cosmo’s list of potential woman presidents? Not a single Republican woman. Not surprised though.

And those seven women are — drumroll, please — Kirsten Gillibrand, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobuchar, Tammy Duckworth, Sheryl Sandberg, and Oprah. Because of course Oprah.

But we can’t seem to shake this feeling that there are still some women missing from that list. Wonder why that is.

Oh...

In Venezuela: Maduro threatens his people

Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro warned on Tuesday that he and supporters would take up arms if his socialist government was violently overthrown by opponents who have been on the streets protesting for three months....
Maduro, 54, was speaking at a rally to promote a July 30 vote for a special super-body called a Constituent Assembly, which could rewrite the national charter and supersede other institutions such as the opposition-controlled congress.

He has touted the assembly as the only way to bring peace to Venezuela. But opponents, who want to bring forward the next presidential election scheduled for late 2018, say it is a sham poll designed purely to keep the socialists in power....

Obamacare’s co-op failures have cost hardworking taxpayers nearly $2B. This is unacceptable.

Trump officially nominates Christopher Wray as FBI director

Why Trump Is Earning Latino Support

...Why did Latino support for Trump massively outperform expectations? For one thing, millions of Hispanics rejected the relentless mainstream media narrative that Trump is an anti-Mexican racist. In addition, only U.S. citizens can vote, and according to an exit poll analysis by Zogby Analytics, twice as many Hispanic voters regarded immigration enforcement as too lax instead of too stringent.

In the final analysis, we Hispanics, whether native-born or naturalized, differ little from other Americans regarding dreams of better lives of prosperity and security. Speaking of dreams, despite constant fear-mongering from the left, the Trump administration last week made it official that it plans no changes to President Obama’s DACA policy regarding the 800,000 “DREAMers” who were brought here illegally, but as children.

I believe in keeping the status quo in this area and President Trump is striking a wise compromise on immigration. He’s placed America’s security first by accelerating the deportation of dangerous illegal aliens. These actions by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, combined with his clear-eyed rhetoric about serious enforcement, have already made the southern border more secure, even before constructing the famous wall. This crackdown also puts transnational criminal gangs like MS-13 on notice that their crimes – largely committed against Hispanics – won’t be tolerated.

Concurrently, the president shows empathy by allowing DACA residents to remain. Recognizing that the DACA-eligible were brought here as children and had no say in breaking our immigration laws, Trump has compassionately preserved part of the Obama administration policy, even though it’s highly unpopular among many in our conservative base. “I love kids,” the president said, “and I find it very hard doing what the laws says exactly to do—the law is very rough.”...

California’s need to dump millions of dollars of excess renewable energy now and in the future is the result of the politically contrived climate alarmist schemes lead by Governor Brown and Senate Leader Kevin de Leon that reflect ignorance of how the state’s electric system grid reliability and stability must be maintained and the key fact that renewable energy resources are unable to provide these ignored requirements.

President Trump Has Now Signed 40 Pieces Of Legislation As He Moves To Enact His Agenda

Fifteen of the 40 signed bills repeal Obama-era regulations. Examples of these regulations include a rule that made it tougher for states to drug test welfare recipients and a regulation that imposed permitting requirements on mining sites. These bills signed by President Trump utilized the Congressional Review Act, which allows Congress to nullify any rule or regulation created in the previous administration’s final six months.

Trump said in a tweet Friday that he’s “gotten rid of massive amounts of regulations.” The president is now hoping to sign an Obamacare repeal bill.

Supreme Court Denies Appeal, Leaves Pro-Gun Decision Intact

“We wanted the staff to see that Trump supporters are just as human as anyone else”

While it has been described as a sit-in, Tatro says the crowd was made up of paying customers and not just “people who were filling chairs.”

“We wanted the staff to see that Trump supporters are just as human as anyone else,” he said. “We live in a diverse city. It’s unacceptable in a modern society to make a customer feel uncomfortable, whether it’s a liberal business mistreating a conservative customer or a conservative business mistreating a liberal customer.”

The Mecklenburg County Republican Party posted on their Facebook page that the event was “a perfect example of a peaceful political demonstration.” The party reported that participants included representatives of the MeckGOP Board, Deplorable Pride (an LGBT Republican group), Hispanics For Trump, Women For Trump and even some independent voters. Republican Rep. William Brawley of Matthews also attended, and spoke to the crowd.

Starbucks has formally apologized for the original incident, which took place earlier this month. Kayla Hart of Charlotte reported she was wearing a shirt in support of President Donald Trump at the Starbucks and was bullied and laughed at by the staff....

Tatro said the Mecklenburg County Republican Party feels the apology was acceptable – as long as the bullying stops. He calls what happened to Kayla Hart “terrible.”

“I think it not only hurt her feelings, but discouraged her from being involved in political process,” he said. “Many Trump supporters are afraid to wear Trump gear for that reason...It’s a shame that some people only feel comfortable when it’s group of 40 people or so.”
