This is Micah. He feels pain. He was born at 22 weeks. Last year, he turned five!— Liz Wheeler (@Liz_Wheeler) January 29, 2018
It's legal to abort kids like Micah.
It's time to tell Democrats we want to protect babies like Micah. Ban abortion after 20 weeks. #TheyFeelPain pic.twitter.com/LIwVO6j7gv
Sen. Lindsey Graham's pain-capable abortion restrictions legislation will come to the Senate floor for a procedural vote on Monday. https://t.co/l91Wjxtdcu— The Weekly Standard (@weeklystandard) January 29, 2018
The legislation, cosponsored by 46 Republicans, would ban abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, with exceptions for instances of rape, incest, or critical health risks for the mother. Why 20 weeks? Fetuses can feel pain and can survive a premature birth at five months of development.
Several Senate Democrats have indicated they will join with Republicans to vote yes on the measure.
Polling shows that roughly HALF of *Democrats* support a mainstream ban on elective abortions in months 6-9 of pregnancy.— Guy Benson (@guypbenson) January 30, 2018
There are 242 Democrats in Congress. Six of them voted for this consensus reform. Six.
The radical abortion lobby has deep pockets & lots of power.
