🚨🚨🚨🚨 The Senate on Friday voted down a motion to allow for additional witnesses to testify as part of the upper chamber’s impeachment trial, all but ensuring a quick acquittal of President Donald Trump. The 51 to 49 vote thwarted Democrats’ ongoing effort to hear from current and former Trump administration officials such as acting White House Chief of State Mick Mulvaney and former National Security Advisor John Bolton.
Congratulations to the Senate Republicans, minus Romney and Collins. They defended the Constitution from the rogue, radical Democrats in the House.— Mark R. Levin (@marklevinshow) January 31, 2020
Senate Republicans rejected a resolution to call witnesses and approved a resolution that calls for a vote on the two articles of impeachment to be held on Feb. 5 in the #impeachmenttrial of President @realDonaldTrump. https://t.co/ISSiKyCZrs— NTD News (@news_ntd) February 1, 2020
I’m mentally preparing myself for days, maybe weeks, of pathetic liberal/media whining after President Trump is fully exonerated, AGAIN.— Dan Bongino (@dbongino) January 31, 2020
Prepare yourself too, it’s going to be an embarrassing spectacle.
