🟥 GET IT DONE🟥 President Donald Trump demanded Wednesday that Congress hold top Silicon Vally technology companies accountable. “If Congress doesn’t bring fairness to Big Tech, which they should have done years ago, I will do it myself with Executive Orders,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “In Washington, it has been ALL TALK and NO ACTION for years, and the people of our Country are sick and tired of it!” The president spoke as Amazon, Facebook, Google, and Apple executives began testifying digitally at the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday about the power of online platforms and censorship issues. The Department of Commerce filed a petition to the Federal Communications Commission on Wednesday, challenging the regulation of large Silicon Valley social media companies. “President Trump will continue to fight back against unfair, un-American, and politically biased censorship of Americans online,” the statement from White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany read. In May, President Trump signed an executive order to check social media companies for censoring conservatives online.

Outrageous to see @prageru, @marklevinshow, @DonaldJTrumpJr, and other conservatives silenced by @jack merely for expressing their opinions. We cannot let #BigTech be the arbiter of who is allowed to speak & what they are allowed to say with respect to health or any other matter. pic.twitter.com/4RPGFxIQ1c— Senator Ted Cruz (@SenTedCruz) July 29, 2020
It seems to be no coincidence that it's sites like @gatewaypundit, @WestJournalism, @amspectator, @DailyCaller, and @BreitbartNews that receive negative treatment as a consequence of @Google's manual tooling.— Rep. Matt Gaetz (@RepMattGaetz) July 29, 2020
I believe @Google is engaging in election interference. pic.twitter.com/F59nKftwYj

How does censoring conservative content fit into that?
