Japan’s Parliament elected Yoshihide Suga as prime minister Wednesday, replacing long-serving leader Shinzo Abe with his right-hand man. Suga had been chosen Monday to lead the ruling party, virtually assuring he would succeed Abe, who resigned because of ill health.
