President Donald Trump brought two football players from Little Miami High School onto the stage at a campaign rally in Swanton, Ohio, on Monday. The two boys recently made headlines after they were suspended for a short time for carrying flags that showed support for law enforcement at the start of a game on Sept. 11. Despite the students’ “insubordination,” the board concluded that their actions had not been politically motivated and overturned their suspension. On Friday, a local non-profit group called “Holiday for Heroes” said it is awarding Williams and Bentley a scholarship for their statement, according to local news reports.
